Course Description:

This course will provide users with a working knowledge of the ESA counterpart regulations and the Alternative Consultation Agreements (ACA's), and provide context for conducting and documenting Biological Assessment/Biological Evaluation (BA/E's) effects analyses under the National Fire Plan (NFP).

At the end of this course you will have the opportunity to complete either the Line Officer or Staff Certification Examination. Upon completion and receiving a passing score, your name will be provided to the Services as a certified end-user. (This test must be completed in one session.)
